Two complete sets of vintage silver gelatin souvenir photographs of Rome, Italy. The first set, titled Roma Museo Capitolino, is published by Edizioni Fotografiche Artistiche A. Traldi, Milano. This series contains 20 black and white prints of classical sculptures housed within the Capitoline Museum, including the Dying Gaul and the Capitoline Venus. The prints feature handwritten identification in pencil on the verso, including notations such as Venere Roma museo Capitolino. The second set, titled 20 Fotografie Artistiche ROMA Serie 2a, is published by Achille Annessi, Rome, with an address of Via Pie' di Marmo, 4. This collection includes 20 silver gelatin prints depicting major Roman architectural landmarks, including the Colosseum, St. Peter's Square, the Roman Forum, the Arch of Septimius Severus, and the Pyramid of Cestius. The landmark cards bear printed captions on the reverse in Italian, English, and German, such as Roma - Arco Trionfale di Settimio Severo / Septimius Severus' Arch / Triumphbogen des Septimius Severus. Both sets are housed in their original tan and red cardboard boxes. Card dimensions approx. H 7 cm x W 9.5 cm (landscape); H 10 cm x W 7 cm (portrait), measured against a ruler Box dimensions approx. H 7.5 cm x W 10.5 cm x D 1.5 cm, measured against a ruler. Condition: The silver gelatin prints remain in good condition with minor age-related toning and light surface wear. The original cardboard boxes show typical shelf wear, corner dings, and scuffing consistent with age.
