A trio of vintage hardcover volumes encompassing self-help, culinary, and performance literature. The first volume is Dale Carnegie's How to Stop Worrying and Start Living, published by Simon and Schuster, featuring its original yellow dust jacket. The second is Meals Tested, Tasted, and Approved by Katharine Fisher, Director of the Good Housekeeping Institute, bound in red and white striped pictorial boards. The third and largest volume is The International Speaker and Entertainer, bound in red publisher's cloth with ornate decorative stamping and a monochrome pictorial inset portrait of a woman on the front board. The Good Housekeeping cookbook shows heavy wear to the boards, including frayed corners and significant foxing and staining to the rear panel; several paper clippings are tucked inside the pages. The International Speaker and Entertainer displays a faded spine and light shelf wear to the cloth edges and extremities.
