A large vintage character plush doll identified as the Genie Doll by Starling Co. Ltd. of Winnipeg, Canada. The doll is constructed with a navy blue plush body, cream-colored hands and feet, and a white plush chest. It features an integrated red plush vest. The head is topped with a tall, pointed hat constructed of plush panels in red, cream, and light green. The face is composed of molded vinyl or plastic with painted details including arched black eyebrows, eyes, and a smiling mouth with red lips. Large pointed ears are fitted with white plastic hoop earrings. The toy retains two cloth tags: one printed with Genie Doll and Starling Co. Ltd., Winnipeg, Canada, and a second copyright tag marked G.H. Gas G... by Ross Manufacturing. Height approx. 18.5 inches Width approx. 11 inches. Condition: The doll is in vintage, play-worn condition. Surface soiling and yellowing are present on the white and cream plush sections. The navy blue plush shows matting and general wear consistent with age. The molded face has minor surface scuffs and small areas of paint loss.
