An assembled flatware service featuring Oneida Community silver-plated pieces in the Morning Star pattern, characterized by a mid-century floral spray design on the handles. The collection includes dinner knives, dinner forks, salad forks, teaspoons, soup spoons, and butter spreaders. The service is supplemented with additional pieces marked Carlton Silverplate and various serving utensils, including a ladle, cake servers, and cold meat forks. Also included is a group of boxed and loose silver-plated souvenir spoons, several featuring Canadian themes and labeled Exquisite. The set is contained in a two-tier dark wood-finish chest with brass-tone hardware and a blue velvet-lined interior. Knife and server blades are marked stainless. Dimensions: W approx. 51 cm x D approx. 40 cm (measured against a ruler). Condition: The flatware is in good vintage condition, showing typical light surface scratches and localized tarnish from use. No monograms are present. The wooden storage chest shows exterior wear, including scuffs and small chips to the finish.
