A clear plastic screw-top tube filled with Lincoln Memorial cents that present as an original bright red uncirculated roll. Every coin edge visible through the tube wall is uniform orange-red with no black, brown or green spotting, and no verdigris or fingerprints show. The one coin that can be identified is the top coin, exposed with the cap off: a 1986-D, fully red with sharp detail and the D plain below the date. Counting edges through the plastic gives roughly forty five to fifty pieces and a standard cent tube holds fifty, but the exact count cannot be confirmed from the photographs and the balance of the roll cannot be dated or attributed. No reverse of any coin is photographed and the tube carries no label. Buy it as a tube of bright cents with one verified 1986-D, not as a confirmed single date roll. Worth knowing: cents from late 1982 forward are copper-plated zinc, so a shiny red 1986 roll is a copper coating over a zinc core and carries no metal value. Estimated Value: $2 to $5. Sold as-is.
