1776-1976 D Bicentennial Quarter Roll Sealed

A clad Bicentennial quarter roll in a plain orange wrapper, still factory crimped and never opened, so only the two end coins can be judged and the interior was never photographed. No $10 or other denomination is legible on any photographed face of this wrapper, so the amount is unconfirmed, and a partial stamp on one crimped end ends in 78, the rest cut off. The obverse end reads 1776-1976 with a legible D right of the hair ribbon, gray surfaces with light golden-tan streaks in the hair and a small dark speck near the mouth. The reverse end coin shows a full drummer on clean light gray with minor softness on the drum from the strike. Down inside one crimped end a dark gray patch shows on an inner coin edge, too shadowed to call. The only upside in a roll like this is the slim chance of a gem inside, and that only pays after certification, which costs more than the roll. Clad quarters hold no silver, over 1.6 billion Bicentennials were struck, and circulated ones are face value coins. Estimated Value: $9 to $13. Sold as-is.
