1776-1976 Bicentennial Quarter Roll

A factory crimped roll of clad Bicentennial quarters, still sealed, in a plain orange wrapper printed QUARTERS, MADE IN U.S.A. and STEEL-STRONG TUBULAR, with a black C 77 stamp on one crimped end. The wrapper denomination is not legible in any photograph, so the $10 amount cannot be confirmed, and because the roll is closed only the two end coins can be verified. The obverse end coin is dated 1776-1976 with full detail, light gray surfaces, soft golden tone in the hair and a small dark speck below the chin. A faint mark sits at the mint mark position right of the ribbon, but it is out of focus and no letter can be read, so no mint is claimed here. The reverse end coin shows a full drummer with a faint gold streak on the hat and no damage. A fact that surprises people: no 1975 dated quarter exists at all. The Mint stopped dating quarters, halves and dollars after 1974 and ran the dual date instead. Clad, no silver, over 1.6 billion struck, face value coins. Estimated Value: $8 to $12. Sold as-is.
