An unopened, factory crimped roll of clad quarters in an orange and tan wrapper printed $10 QUARTERS, forty coins if full. Only the two end coins are verifiable and no interior coin was photographed, so the count rests on the wrapper alone. The obverse end shows a clean 1776-1976 dual date with a clearly legible D right of the hair ribbon, light golden-tan tone through the hair and two tiny dark specks on the neck. The reverse end coin is the crispest drummer in this batch, with clean light gray surfaces and faint golden highlights. Neither shows high point wear, rim dings, scratches or cleaning. The pencil writing is photographed upside down and only partly legible, reading roughly Bi Cent with a clear 76. History: three denominations got Bicentennial reverses, the quarter with the drummer, the half with Independence Hall and the dollar with the Liberty Bell over the moon. All circulating versions are clad. With over 1.6 billion quarters struck, this is a face value roll. Estimated Value: $9 to $13. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
