Four copper-nickel clad Susan B Anthony dollars: two 1979-D, a third 1979 whose mint mark is struck mushy and filled so the letter is D-shaped but not crisply readable, and a 1980-P whose mint mark is sharp. Both sides of all four coins were photographed. Each keeps full hair and drapery with no high-point wear, so they appear uncirculated. The 1980-P shows light golden-tan toning and a few faint hairlines left of the face. One 1979-D has bright satin luster and is the cleanest. Another has dark specks in the left field and at the rim, and the fourth has golden-tan and orange rim toning with dark specks. The reverses show full eagle detail, with heavy golden-tan peripheral toning on one and small dark spots on another. A useful point: mint marks in this era were still punched into working dies by hand, so a soft or filled letter like the one here is ordinary and is not an error. Clad, no silver content. Estimated Value: $4 to $6. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors. Please review all photos before bidding.
