Five copper-nickel clad Susan B Anthony dollars, four dated 1979 with a D mint mark left of the bust and one dated 1980 with a P. Every coin keeps full hair strands and full drapery with no circulation wear, so they appear uncirculated, on pale gray-white surfaces with patchy tan and gold rim toning. Condition, stated plainly: one 1979-D carries crusty green verdigris on the hair above the forehead, on the jaw and neck, on the shoulder and in a large patch in the right field, with dark gray grime in the bust. A second 1979-D has dark gray-green deposits across the neck, shoulder and drapery, and a third shows a small green speck beside the hair bun. Green corrosion is active and can spread, so these want a look in hand. The other two coins are comparatively clean. Only a group reverse was photographed, and two reverses show gray-brown grime. The Anthony dollar failed in commerce because it was too close in size and color to a quarter. These are clad and hold no silver. Estimated Value: $5 to $8. Sold as-is.
