Four copper-nickel clad Kennedy half dollars with the 1776-1976 Bicentennial dual date, all four carrying a D mint mark below the neck truncation. Each shows full hair detail with no high-point wear and appears uncirculated. One carries heavy golden-tan and orange toning across most of the obverse. One is the poorest: dull hazy gray surfaces, a grayish-green smudge on the cheek and jaw, dark grime in the hair and along the date, and a dark smear across the 1776. That smudge cannot be called verdigris from a photograph, but it deserves a look in hand. A third coin has a tiny purple-blue speck in the right field and the fourth has light gray-gold haze. On the group reverse the lower right coin shows a dark spot near 200 YEARS OF FREEDOM. Only a group reverse was photographed. The Independence Hall reverse came out of a public design competition the Mint held in 1974, which Seth Huntington won for the half dollar. Clad, no silver. Estimated Value: $4 to $8. Sold as-is.
