Four copper-nickel clad Kennedy half dollars with the 1776-1976 Bicentennial dual date, all four showing a D mint mark below the neck truncation. Every coin has full hair detail with no high-point wear and appears uncirculated. Condition, in full: one coin has a dark green-black raised spot about one and a half millimeters across in the left field opposite the nose, plus dark specks in the hair and a dull hazy surface. That spot reads as corrosion rather than toning, and corrosion can keep working, so inspection is recommended. A second coin has light tan haze and small dark specks along the jaw, a third has warm golden-tan toning across the portrait, and the fourth is bright and clean with light gold haze. The reverses were photographed only as a group. A note for bidders sorting Bicentennial halves: the silver ones are 40 percent silver, carry an S mint mark and came only in collector sets. These are clad, and the dark line at the rim shows it. Estimated Value: $4 to $8. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
