A pair of American sterling silver salt and pepper shakers of flared bell-shaped form. Each shaker features a domed top with circular perforations, surmounted by a small ball finial. The underside of each base is stamped with manufacturer's marks in a circular arrangement: MADE IN U.S.A. at the top, S.C.S. CO (recheck) in the centre, and STERLING SILVER at the bottom. Height approx. 5 cm Base Diameter approx. 3.2 cm Weight: 14 g. Condition: Both shakers exhibit significant tarnish and surface oxidation, most notably on the domed tops. There are visible surface scratches and minor indentations throughout, consistent with age and domestic use.
