A set of eight matching dessert or luncheon knives featuring sterling silver handles and stainless steel blades. The handles are designed in a classic rounded form with a reeded border and each is engraved with a Gothic-style monogram 'H'. The handles are stamped with the maker's mark 'BIRKS STERLING' and the blades are marked 'BIRK'S STAINLESS'. The set is accompanied by a green anti-tarnish fabric storage roll. Gross weight 558 g Length approx. 21.5 cm. Condition: The knives show light surface scratches and minor tarnishing consistent with age and use. There are visible areas of oxidation and residue at the junction where the blades meet the silver handles on several examples. The storage roll remains functional with some light surface wear and signs of age.
