A pair of sterling silver salt and pepper shakers by Birks. Each shaker is of bell-shaped form, featuring a flared circular pedestal base and a domed, pull-off cover with circular piercings. The underside of each base is stamped with the maker mark BIRKS and the fineness mark STERLING. Height measured against a ruler: approx. 5.4 cm Base diameter measured against a ruler: approx. 3.8 cm Combined weight measured on a scale: 39 g. Condition: The shakers show signs of age and use, including surface tarnish, light scratches, and small areas of oxidation, particularly around the bases and pierced covers.
