A set of eight solid sterling silver teaspoons in the Strasbourg pattern, featuring an ornate Rococo Revival design with scrolled borders, foliate motifs, and a shell terminal. The reverse of each handle is stamped with the word STERLING alongside a maker's mark consisting of three symbols in individual shields: a lion passant, an anchor, and a capital letter G. The set is accompanied by a protective green velvet storage roll. Weight: 142 g. Condition: The collection shows light surface scratching and minor wear commensurate with age and domestic use. There is evidence of tarnish across the set, with one spoon displaying heavy dark oxidisation to the bowl. The pieces remain in good structural condition with no visible dents, splits, or repairs.
