A set of eight sterling silver forks by the Canadian silversmith Henry Birks & Sons. The forks are decorated in the Old English Thread pattern, featuring a reeded border that follows the contour of the handles. Each handle terminal is engraved with a Gothic style monogram H. The reverse of the stems are stamped with the maker name BIRKS and the fineness mark STERLING, denoting .925 silver purity. Weight: 341 g. Condition: The forks exhibit surface wear, fine scratching, and areas of tarnishing consistent with age and regular domestic use. The tines appear uniform with no significant bending or signs of repair.
