A collection of silver souvenir spoons featuring decorative enamel finials representing various locations and institutions across the United Kingdom. The set includes spoons for Oxford University, York Minster, Oxford, Windsor, Wales, and Caernarvon. The finials display distinct heraldic and architectural motifs: Oxford University with a blue-ground crest, York Minster depicting the cathedral facade, Oxford with an ox crossing a ford, Windsor with a green-ground castle crest, Wales with a red dragon within a wreath, and Caernarvon featuring a red shield with three eagles. The spoon shafts vary in construction, including fluted, plain, and twisted designs. One spoon bowl reverse is stamped with a series of hallmarks including the maker's mark D and F within a rectangular border, an anchor symbol for Birmingham, a lion passant indicating sterling silver, and a lowercase date letter q. The maker's mark is attributed to Deakin and Francis Ltd (recheck). The collection is accompanied by a green felt storage wrap.
