Five vintage tabletop pieces. (1) Black and white ceramic bird dog figurine standing on point, about five and a half inches long and four inches tall. A yellow ribbon decal on the side reads Souvenir of Kansas City, Kans. Fine crazing all over the glaze. The unglazed bottom has a large open hole, how Japanese export makers finished this style. No maker mark. (2) Paring knife, cream plastic handle printed in black with the Pioneer Seeds name and Pioneer symbol, about seven inches overall, blade bright with light use marks. (3) Novelty spreader, stainless blade, molded handle shaped like a jar of Reeses Crunchy Peanut Butter, about six inches. (4) and (5) Two mismatched ceramic rooster shakers. One is tan, red, and green on a green base with shaker holes in back and chips on the tail, wing, and base rim where raw clay shows. The other is black, white, and red on a black base with shaker holes and a cork still in the bottom. Condition runs good to fair, the chipped rooster weakest by far. Estimated Value: $20 to $40 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
