Vintage Transistor Radio and Binoculars

Updated August 27, 2026

Vintage pocket transistor radio with case plus compact binoculars. Radio has a black front, ivory back with vent slots, gold faceplate, gold speaker grille, whip antenna, side thumbwheel tuner, and a red window on the left edge. The faceplate reads Champion, a red window showing the number 6, then 2 Transistor, then Deluxe in small red letters. The seller listed this as an eight transistor model TR-1088, but the only readable markings on the set say Champion and 2 Transistor, and there is no model number in any photo. Go by what is printed on the set, not the original title. Not tested, no batteries installed. Black leatherette carry case with punched speaker holes, dial cutout, and shoulder strap. Binoculars are a small compact pair in blue and silver, rubber eyecups, center focus wheel, black neck cord, barrel printed with Credit Union of Johnson County advertising, small gold Made in China sticker. No magnification numbers visible. Condition on all three pieces is good with light wear. Estimated Value: $20 to $40 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is.
