A chromolithograph by Cecil Aldin entitled The Fallowfield Hunt: The Breakfast, produced in 1900. The work depicts a humorous sporting scene featuring several huntsmen in traditional riding attire gathered around a dining table. One figure is shown upending a tankard, while foxhounds and mounted riders are visible through an open doorway in the background. The print is executed in a multi-colour palette with bold outlines characteristic of the artist's caricature style. A stylised signature and the date 1900 are present in the lower right corner. The piece is housed in a period dark wood frame with a figured grain. Dimensions (framed): approx. H 48 cm x W 71 cm (note: measured against a tape showing approx. 19 x 28 inches). Condition: The paper exhibits overall age-related toning. The frame shows surface abrasions, scuffs, and chips to the finish, particularly along the edges. The reverse of the frame shows significant water staining and tears to the brown paper backing.
