AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Handcrafted botanical window panel or sun catcher measuring 4" × 7" and approximately 1/4" thick, fitted with a linked chain hanger for suspension before a window or other light source. The composition is formed between two glass panels, with pressed natural flowers, seed heads, leaves, curling tendrils and dark blue foliate elements arranged in a flowing vine pattern. The backing glass is softly opaque and iridescent, displaying shifting pearly tones with wisps and swirls of white, while the clear front panel protects the delicate botanical specimens and permits close viewing of their individual forms. A handcrafted nickel silver frame encloses the perimeter, with visible soldered joints contributing to the studio made character. When illuminated from behind, the translucent glass to the front produces changing pastel coloration while the preserved plant materials appear in silhouette, creating the effect of a miniature botanical stained glass window.
