AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Three English fine bone china trinket dishes comprising one Hammersley oval dish measuring 5.5" × 4.25" and 1" deep, together with a pair of Royal Albert square dishes measuring 4.75" across and standing 1.25" tall. All three have scalloped or fluted borders, white grounds, multicolor floral decoration and gold gilt enamel trim. The oval dish is Hammersley & Co. Dresden Sprays, pattern H 29 / 4055, produced in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England. The design features a central bouquet of mixed garden flowers surrounded by a broad floral border with trailing foliage, delicate gold scroll accents and a narrow gilt pinstripe. The underside bears the crowned DRESDEN SPRAYS ~ BONE CHINA ~ MADE IN ENGLAND ~ HAMMERSLEY backstamp, together with H 29. The two square dishes are Royal Albert Moss Rose, decorated with clusters of pink moss roses, blue forget-me-nots and green foliage against classic square fluted forms with hand-gilded edges. Both undersides bear the crowned ROYAL ALBERT ~ BONE CHINA ~ ENGLAND ~ MOSS ROSE backstamp. Hammersley & Co. and Royal Albert were prominent Staffordshire manufacturers recognized for highly decorated English bone china. Dresden Sprays reflects the elaborate Continental-inspired floral decoration favored by Hammersley, while Moss Rose became one of Royal Albert’s enduring mid-20th-century floral patterns. These small dishes are commonly classified as trinket dishes, pin dishes or sweetmeat dishes and were used for rings, pins, small personal items, candies or other small contents. CONDITION REPORT > All three present attractively with age-appropriate surface wear and some rubbing or loss to the gold trim. No overt chips or cracks are visible in the photographs.
