Specimens dated between 1940 and 1947 bear the legend GEORGIVS VI D:G:REX ET IND:IMP:, while the 1952 specimen features the updated legend GEORGIVS VI DEI GRATIA REX. The reverse of each coin depicts the schooner Bluenose under full sail, a design by Emanuel Hahn, accompanied by the inscriptions CANADA, 10 CENTS, and the specific year of issue. The years represented in this group include 1940, 1944, 1945, 1947, and 1952. Each coin features a reeded edge and a silver-coloured composition. Condition: The coins are in circulated condition, displaying varying degrees of wear to the high points of the portraits and the schooner design. Surface marks, small nicks, and scratches are present throughout the lot. The specimens exhibit significant toning, with several pieces displaying heavy, dark patination.
