A group of silver 25-cent coins from CA. The group includes coins dated 1937, 1940, 1941, 1944, 1949, and 1950. Struck in .800 fine silver. The obverse features the King George VI portrait. The pieces dated 1937, 1940, 1941, and 1944 bear the legend GEORGIVS VI D:G:REX ET IND:IMP:, while the 1949 and 1950 coins feature the GEORGIVS VI DEI GRATIA REX legend. The reverse displays the caribou design alongside the denomination and date. Condition: Circulated. The surfaces show degrees of wear to the high points of the portrait and caribou antlers. Toning, contact marks, and light scratches are present throughout the group.
