A collection of Canadian 25-cent coins struck in 80% silver (.800 fineness). The obverse of each coin features the laureate effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, surrounded by the legend ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA. The reverse depicts the caribou head design by Emanuel Hahn, inscribed CANADA, 25 cents, and the respective years 1953, 1957, 1961, and 1964. The coins were struck at the Royal Canadian Mint in Ottawa and feature reeded edges. Reference: KM# 52. Condition: Circulated. All coins exhibit typical surface wear and contact marks consistent with age and use. The 1953 example shows a significant area of green oxidation and verdigris across the obverse portrait. The remaining coins show varied degrees of light toning.
