A group of Canadian nickel 25-cent coins issued to commemorate the centenary of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The obverse displays the second effigy portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by the Latin legend ELIZABETH II D G REGINA. The reverse features the RCMP Centennial design depicting a Mountie on horseback with a guidon, flanked by the years 1873 and 1973. The inscriptions CANADA and 25 CENTS are positioned at the top. The initials PC and B for the designer and engraver are visible near the ground line. Each coin is finished with a reeded edge. Condition: The coins are in circulated condition, showing visible surface wear, contact marks, and diminished mint lustre. One coin displays a small spot of green oxidation on the reverse rim.
