A group of four Canadian silver 25-cent coins featuring the caribou reverse design by Emanuel Hahn. The group includes one specimen from the reign of King George VI dated 1941 and three specimens from the reign of Queen Elizabeth II dated 1955, 1956, and 1959. The 1941 coin features the obverse portrait of King George VI with the legend GEORGIVS VI D : G : REX ET IND : IMP :. The 1955, 1956, and 1959 coins feature the laureate obverse portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the legend ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA. Each coin is struck in .800 fine silver with a reeded edge. These coins were produced during a period when Canadian circulating coinage maintained a consistent silver composition. Suggested reference (unverified): KM# 35 and KM# 52. Condition: Circulated. The 1941 specimen shows heavy dark toning and surface patina on the obverse, with moderate wear to the high points of the portrait and caribou design. The specimens dated 1955, 1956, and 1959 show lighter circulation wear, preserving more of the original design detail and displaying some remaining lustre with scattered surface marks and minor edge knocks consistent with age and use.
