A Canadian silver dollar dated 1966, struck in .800 fine silver. The obverse features the Arnold Machin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a tiara, surrounded by the legend ELIZABETH II D · G · REGINA. The reverse bears the Voyageur design by Emanuel Hahn, depicting a fur trader and an Indigenous person in a canoe passing an island under the Northern Lights. The reverse is inscribed CANADA 1966 DOLLAR and includes the designer's initials E.H. to the left of the canoe's stern. The coin has a reeded edge and retains original mint lustre. Condition: Uncirculated. The coin retains original mint lustre with light golden-brown toning at the peripheries. Numerous contact marks and scuffs are present in the fields and on the high points of the design, consistent with coins stored and handled in mint bags.
