A 1966 Canadian silver dollar struck in 80% silver by the Royal Canadian Mint. The obverse displays the second portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing a tiara, surrounded by the legend ELIZABETH II D G REGINA. The reverse features the Voyageur design by Emanuel Hahn, depicting a fur trader and an Indigenous person paddling a canoe past a pine-clad islet under stylized northern lights. The reverse is inscribed CANADA above and DOLLAR below the central date 1966. The designer's initials GH are visible on the hull of the canoe. The coin features a reeded edge. Condition: In circulated condition, displaying numerous surface scratches and contact marks consistent with handling. Light yellowish-gold toning is visible along the upper rims of both the obverse and reverse.
