A pair of Canadian 50 cent coins (KM# 45) struck in .800 fineness silver and dated 1951. The obverse features the King George VI effigy by Humphrey Paget, accompanied by the legend GEORGIVS VI DEI GRATIA REX. The reverse displays the 1921 Canadian Coat of Arms design. Both specimens feature the designer's initials HP at the base of the neck on the obverse. Condition: The coins are in circulated condition, showing surface wear and contact marks consistent with a grade of Very Fine. One specimen exhibits prominent yellowish-brown toning and surface staining around the periphery of both faces. The other specimen displays more uniform surface wear and is free of significant staining.
