A pair of Canadian silver 50 cent coins, struck in .800 fineness. Both specimens correspond to the KM 45 catalogue type. The obverse features the King George VI effigy with the designer's initials HP and the legend GEORGIVS VI DEI GRATIA REX. The reverse depicts the 1921–1957 version of the Canadian Coat of Arms alongside the inscriptions 50 CENTS and CANADA. The coins carry the individual dates of 1950 and 1952. Condition: Both specimens are in circulated condition, showing moderate wear to the high points of the portrait and coat of arms. Dark toning and residue are present in the recesses of the legends and motifs.
