A pair of Canada 50-cent silver coins, comprising one dated 1943 and one dated 1945. Struck in .800 fine silver. The obverse features the George VI obverse by Humphrey Paget, with initials HP and the legend GEORGIVS VI D: G: REX ET IND: IMP:. The reverse displays the 1921 Arms of Canada design by George Kruger Gray, including initials K and G, the denomination 50 CENTS, and the respective years. Both coins feature reeded edges. Suggested reference (unverified): KM# 45. Condition: Both specimens exhibit moderate circulation wear, with softening to the high points of the hair and heraldic details. Surfaces show light marks and areas of dark toning.
