A pair of Canada silver 50-cent coins dated 1943 and 1951. Both specimens are struck in .800 fine silver. The 1943 coin features the George VI IND:IMP: obverse and the 1921 Coat of Arms reverse. The 1951 coin features the George VI DEI GRATIA obverse and the 1921 Coat of Arms reverse. Obverse portraits bear the HP initials for engraver Thomas Humphrey Paget. The reverse designs include the KG initials for designer George Kruger Gray. Both coins feature reeded edges. Condition: The 1943 coin exhibits significant circulated wear with dark toning in recessed areas. The 1951 coin shows moderate wear with some original lustre preserved and light golden-brown peripheral toning.
