A pair of Canadian 50-cent coins struck by the Royal Canadian Mint in 1965. Composed of .800 fineness silver, these coins feature the laureate Elizabeth II obverse design. The reverse displays the 1957 version of the Canadian coat of arms, bearing the inscriptions CANADA, 1965, 50 CENTS, and the motto A MARI USQUE AD MARE on a ribbon at the base. Both coins feature reeded edges. Condition: One coin presents in extremely fine condition with light surface marks and a bright silver surface. The second coin exhibits significant dark and iridescent toning across both the obverse and reverse surfaces, with moderate circulation wear visible.
