A pair of Canadian 50-cent (half dollar) coins struck in 80% silver, issued in 1965. The obverse of each coin features the second portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right and wearing a tiara, with the circumscribed legend ELIZABETH II D·G·REGINA. The reverse depicts the Canadian Coat of Arms flanked by the inscriptions CANADA and 50 CENTS, with the date 1965 at the top. A ribbon at the base contains the motto A MARI USQUE AD MARE. Both specimens feature reeded edges and silver-white lustre. Condition: The top specimen exhibits light surface marks and distinctive golden-brown toning concentrated around the rim. The bottom specimen appears brighter with minimal handling wear. Both coins retain original mint lustre and show no signs of cleaning or significant edge damage.
