A pair of Canadian 50-cent coins dated 1966. Struck in .800 fine silver. The obverse of each coin features the right-facing bust of Queen Elizabeth II with the legend ELIZABETH II D G REGINA. The reverse displays the Canadian Coat of Arms, the date 1966, and the denomination 50 CENTS. The Latin motto A MARI USQUE AD MARE is inscribed on the ribbon below the shield. Both coins have reeded edges. Suggested reference (unverified): KM# 62. Condition: Both coins exhibit peripheral toning with golden and brownish hues around the rims and within the recessed areas of the design. The surfaces show minor marks and light wear on the higher points of the relief, consistent with an extremely fine or better state. Free of any major scratches or evidence of cleaning.
