A vintage Dunlop International D Line 101 wooden tennis racquet. The racquet features a laminated wood frame with a cream-colored finish, accented by black and gold-tone geometric graphics on the throat and shoulders. It is strung with white synthetic or gut strings and retains its original perforated brown leather grip with gold-toned banding. Included with the racquet is a trapezoidal wooden press used to maintain the frame's shape, marked Jelinek T300 with an interlocking three-circle logo. The press is secured with four sets of metal bolts and wing nuts. The racquet throat is prominently marked with the Dunlop brand name, International, and the model D Line 101. Dimensions: Length approx. 27 inches. Condition: The item is in good vintage condition, showing signs of wear consistent with age and previous use. The wood frame exhibits minor scuffing and finish wear, particularly around the top of the head. The leather grip shows significant aging, surface wear, and discoloration. The wooden press remains intact and functional, though the metal hardware shows some surface oxidation.
