This group consists of a variety of vintage utilitarian and decorative objects, including a pedometer, drafting tools, and silver-plated flatware. The pocket-style pedometer is produced by K+R (Kasper & Richter) in Germany. It features a black dial with white and yellow lettering indicating MILE and 1 Division = 1/4 Mile. The outer scale is numbered from 1 to 25. The instrument is contained within a chrome-plated metal case equipped with a belt clip and a central adjustment screw on the reverse. The drafting instruments include a small compass with a black handle marked GERMANY and a larger pair of metal dividers featuring a center thumbwheel for adjustment. The selection of silver-plated spoons includes a large serving spoon with pseudo-hallmarks for James Deakin and Sons of Sheffield, UK, consisting of JD over WD in a shield followed by a W, a D, and a crown. Also included is a medium spoon marked HF & S for Harrison Fisher and Co. and a souvenir spoon from Winnipeg with a decorative enameled finial depicting a red and green maple leaf. Measurements read from a visible tape measure (inches only): Large serving spoon length: approx. 22.2 cm (8.75 in) Medium spoon length: approx. 12.7 cm (5 in) Souvenir spoon length: approx. 11.4 cm (4.5 in) Adjustable dividers length: approx. 14 cm (5.5 in) Pedometer case diameter: approx. 4.4 cm (1.75 in). Condition: The items show wear consistent with age and use. The pedometer case exhibits light surface scratches and the mechanical function is untested. Drafting instruments show minor surface oxidation. The large serving spoon has significant tarnish and silver plate loss, particularly in the bowl. The other spoons show light surface wear and minor scuffing.
