This collection features a variety of mid-20th-century patches, uniform components, and commemorative pins. Included is a Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) sweetheart-style bracelet composed of approximately 14 brass tunic buttons. Each button displays a King's Crown over an eagle with R.C.A.F. embossed at the base, signifying the King George VI era. A circular military proficiency or trade badge is present, made of olive-drab wool with light-colored embroidery depicting three radiating lines above a horizontal bar. Scouting items include a vintage circular embroidered Boy Scouts patch with a red maple leaf on a green ground and a Scouts Canada patch in black and yellow with a fleur-de-lis emblem. The assortment of metal pins includes a United Steel Workers of America C.I.O. dues pin dated November 1950, an American Red Cross (ARC) Swimmer LSS pin in the shape of a lifebuoy, and an Ottawa-Carleton regional flag pin. Religious and sentimental items feature a Don Bosco "Apostle of Youth" portrait pin, a floral "God Is Love" pin, and a bluebird birthday pin with a religious blessing. A yellow "Spectator Ace Reporter" pin numbered 1705 is also included. Diameter of Scouts Canada patch: approx. 2.5 in Width of button bracelet (as coiled): approx. 3 in Diameter of Boy Scouts patch: approx. 1.75 in Note: Dimensions approximate as read from an inch-scale tape measure. Condition: The items are in good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Fabric patches show surface pilling and minor fraying at the edges. Metal buttons and pins exhibit typical surface oxidation, light scratching, and tarnishing. The Spectator Ace Reporter pin shows more significant surface wear and finish loss along the bottom edge. The cord for the button bracelet remains intact despite some light fraying.
