A pair of Canadian silver 50-cent coins dated 1966. Each specimen features the Arnold Machin effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right on the obverse, with the legend ELIZABETH II D G REGINA. The reverse displays the Canadian Coat of Arms, surmounted by the date 1966. The issuer CANADA is inscribed to the left of the shield and the denomination 50 CENTS to the right. The heraldic ribbon below bears the national motto A MARI USQUE AD MARE. Both coins feature reeded edges and are composed of .800 fine silver. Condition: The coins display original mint lustre with faint surface marks consistent with handling. One specimen exhibits light golden-brown toning to the obverse periphery. Both coins appear to be in uncirculated condition.
