A pair of Canadian silver 50-cent coins comprising one 1965 issue and one 1966 issue. Struck in .800 fine silver. The obverse of each coin features the laureate portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the circumscription ELIZABETH II D. G. REGINA. The reverse displays the 1957 Canadian coat of arms design, which includes a central shield with supporters and a crown. Reverse legends include CANADA, 50 CENTS, the date, and the motto A MARI USQUE AD MARE. The coins are finished with reeded edges. Condition: Both coins show signs of light circulation wear with visible surface scratches and contact marks. The 1966 specimen exhibits significant heavy orange and dark toning on the obverse. The 1965 specimen displays several small green spots of verdigris or PVC residue on the reverse near the crown and date.
