A pair of Canadian silver 50-cent coins dated 1965. The obverse features the Arnold Machin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse displays the Canadian Coat of Arms design. Each specimen is struck in .800 fineness silver and features a reeded edge. Inscriptions include ELIZABETH II D G REGINA on the obverse and CANADA 1965 50 CENTS on the reverse, with the motto A MARI USQUE AD MARE at the base of the coat of arms. Condition: Extremely fine specimens showing visible lustre and fine surface marks. One coin possesses significant dark orange and brown toning on both sides, primarily along the rim. The second specimen is untoned with uniform silver surfaces.
