This 0.5L cobalt blue and cream stoneware commemorative beer stein features molded high-relief panels celebrating military service during the Third Reich period. The front depicts a military aircraft in flight above the inscription "Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit" ("In Remembrance of My Time in Service"). Additional relief panels illustrate Leichte Flak (light anti-aircraft artillery) personnel operating a 2 cm gun and a mechanized support scene labeled "Tanken," reflecting the increasing mobility and combined-arms organization of the German armed forces during the 1930s and early 1940s. The stein is decorated with molded oak leaf and acorn borders and retains its original pewter hinged lid with a shell-form thumb lift. The interior of the lid is engraved "Marion," and the base is impressed with mold numbers 2962 / 15. Condition is very good, exhibiting light glaze wear, minor handling marks, and natural oxidation to the pewter lid, with no visible structural damage. Measures 6" tall, 4" in diameter and 6" deep.
