Cream-glazed stoneware military presentation beer stein commemorating service with 15. Batt. Artillerie-Regiment Ulm during 1934-35. The front displays a finely hand-painted polychrome scene of German artillerymen serving a field gun beneath the inscription "15. Batt. Artillerie-Regiment Ulm 1934-35," bordered by oak leaves incorporating National Socialist emblems. The lower inscription reads "Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit," while the base is personalized "Kan. Vetter," identifying the original owner as Kanonier Vetter. The reverse carries a printed roster of battery personnel arranged in two columns. The original pewter hinged lid retains its decorative songbird finial and thumb lift, while the interior is embossed with a portrait of General Paul von Hindenburg and the inscription "Generalfeldmarschall von Hindenburg Reichspräsident." The underside of the lid bears a "Rein Zinn" purity mark. Condition is very good, showing light glaze crazing, minor handling wear, and natural oxidation to the pewter lid, with no visible structural damage. Measures 7.5" tall, 4" in diameter and 5" in depth including handle. BP/RC
