Imperial German Army 0.5-liter reservist/service commemorative beer stein for the II. Ersatz-Maschinengewehr-Kompanie, Infanterie-Regiment 19, Freising. The cream-glazed stoneware body features a transfer-printed and hand-colored view of Freising surrounded by military motifs and banners reading "Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit" ("Remembrance of My Service"). The upper inscription identifies the unit as "II. E.M.G. I. Komp. Inf. Rgt. 19 Freising." Red banding accents the rim and base, while the original hinged pewter lid is decorated with a raised Bavarian coat of arms within a wreath. The stein retains its 0.5-liter capacity mark and remains in very good condition with light staining at the handle junction, minor glaze wear, and natural oxidation to the pewter lid. No visible cracks or significant chips are present. Measures 6" tall, 3 3/4" wide and 6" deep including handle. BP/RC
