Glazed ceramic Christmas presentation beer stein commemorating Weihnachten 1937 for S./A.R. 10 (Schwere Abteilung, Artillerie-Regiment 10). The body features a transfer-printed and hand-colored scene of German artillerymen serving a horse-drawn field gun in a rural landscape, with the unit designation displayed beneath the Christmas inscription. The reverse is personalized with the painted inscription "N. Kan. Junge," identifying the original recipient as Nebenkanonier Junge. The stein retains its original hinged pewter lid with beaded rim decoration and remains in very good condition, exhibiting light handling wear, minor glaze wear, and age-related oxidation and pitting to the interior of the pewter lid. The ceramic body is free of visible cracks or significant chips. Measures 6" tall, 4" wide, 5" deep including handle. BP/RC
