Two oval badges featuring fabric folk figures from Tirol and Kaernten are set in red plastic frames. Each badge measures 1.75 inches in height and 1.25 inches in width and is fitted with a simple pin-back attachment on a gray cardboard reverse. Embroidered images represent traditional regional attire from the indicated provinces. Issued as part of Third Reich Winterhilfswerk (WHW) street collections during 1933–1945, these badges served as popular donor rewards and reflect the middle-period shift to fabric-in-plastic construction. Noticeable foxing and staining are present on the fabric inserts, consistent with age and handling. The lower edges of each frame are molded with the respective Austrian regional names. These badges are representative examples of WHW charity tinnies distributed for winter relief fundraising campaigns. SC
