This vintage child's tricycle is constructed with a blue-painted flat-bar metal frame and a contoured wooden seat finished in red paint. The tricycle features three metal-rimmed wheels with a white and red concentric band colour scheme, all of which are fitted with solid black rubber tyres. The steering column is topped with white ribbed plastic handlebar grips. The vehicle is powered by a direct-drive metal pedal mechanism attached to the front wheel hub. The frame assembly is secured using a combination of rivets and bolts, reflecting mid-century manufacturing techniques. Condition: The item exhibits significant signs of age and play-wear. There is widespread paint loss and surface oxidation present across the blue metal frame and the wheel rims. The wooden seat shows evidence of weathering, paint wear, and minor cracking along the grain. The solid rubber tyres display age-related dry rot and cracking throughout. The black plastic grip for the left-side pedal is missing, leaving the bare metal crank arm exposed. The right pedal retains its original textured black plastic grip.
