Signed Linda Le Kinff (French, b. 1949), Avenir, 2006, Embellished Serigraph with Acrylic on Wood Panel, No. 48/250. Signed in ink lower left by the artist. This example is No. 48/250, as confirmed by the Park West registration number ending in .0048 and accompanying documentation. Gorgeous piece, you can hardly tell it is not the original. The circular composition depicts an elegantly dressed woman wearing a broad red hat and holding a bouquet of roses, accompanied by a cat. Le Kinffs characteristic stylized figuration is enhanced with hand-painted acrylic passages, raised textural details, and metallic accents in gold and lavender. The embellishment gives the work considerably more surface interest and dimension than the separate edition produced on paper. According to the accompanying Park West Gallery Certificate of Authenticity, the wood-panel edition consists of 250 numbered examples. The documentation further records an artist’s proof edition of 95, a printer’s proof edition of 65, three bon à tirer impressions, and a separate edition of 775 on paper. Artwork Dimensions: 11 1/2 x 11 1/2 inches. Edition: 48/250. Framed Dimensions: 23 1/2 x 23 1/2 inches. Presented in a substantial top-quality gilt frame with broad black matting and gilt inner trim, creating a particularly handsome presentation. Documentation: Accompanied by the original Park West Gallery Certificate of Authenticity, Registration No. 161186.0048, confirming the artist, title, date, medium, dimensions, signature, and edition. Also accompanied by a Park West Gallery appraisal dated July 22, 2011, stating a then-current retail replacement value of $2,975, including the frame. This historical appraisal accompanies the artwork as documentation and does not represent the current auction estimate. Condition: Very good to excellent overall condition. Artwork presents beautifully with strong color, attractive metallic and textured embellishment, and no significant condition issues apparent. Quality frame presents well with minor wear consistent with age and display. Please review all photographs as they form part of the condition report.
